On Easter Sunday 2005 a very efficient spammer hit our WikiForumArchive March2005 page logged in as zzzzzz. This guy spammed us with URLs designed for pretty much every format he could need: wiki format, BBCode, HTML, and text only. He obviously knows what he is doing, he is just too lazy to customize his spam.
Of all the spammed URLs many don't even show up in Google yet, one is down, and others I wasn't able to easily confirm have been spammed for before. They appear on a lot of Chinese sites, but there its harder to tell if they are really spam. The only one I was pretty sure had been spamming before was gmkfq.com, though even that was small time so far. From that URL though I was able to connect afanty.com.cn.
On the front page of gmkfq.com are these two pictures:
Do they know their company has hired spammers?
Here is a description of the company I found on their site (www.gmkfq.com/jbgk.htm):
Gaomi Economic and Technical Development Zone was established in Oct.1992, and was approved as the provincial economic zone by the people's Government of Shandong Province in Dec.in the same year.
The site is pretty much pure bad SEO. There is little content and lots of links.
Since gmkfq was the only one that was an obvious spammer and afanty.com.cn was obviously connected I only chongqed those two sites for now:
