I first experienced IRC-spam on #wiki today. Somebody opens a dicussion window with you and spams porn sites. I was told it is quite common, just ignore them Any way of chongqing theese fellows? – MattisManzel

I guess thats a form of Spim (instant message spam). Spim is a big enough problem that AOL recently filed its first lawsuit against spimmers. But spim is done to get user hits, not improve Google PageRank so I think its outside our chongqing area. Check the URLs out in Google and see if they are also spamming websites, if they are (which is likely) we will chongq them. --Joe

Spim, got it. Thx. – MattisManzel

60.25.120.218 is spamming worldwide wiki. Chongq. – MattisManzel

Same spammer as reported on SpamReport page "POPFile wiki - September 3, 2004 10:44 pm by 60.25.119.199". At least a bunch of the URLs are the same as before. Google shows 38 results for the new IP, 208 for the previous one. – Joe

About the translation of Chinese: Stardict is a working tool. I didn't use it for Chinese yet, but it has vast dictionaries for Chinese I read. It might help you http://stardict.sourceforge.net/MattisManzel
